Te whakawhanake hononga , Developing networks
Developing new networks and relationships within the wider community is a good way to build up our knowledge and skills and become more culturally aware.
Iwi and Māori organisations, government, health and non-government agencies all have knowledge and expertise that we can tap.
Many iwi organisations run hauora (health) hui and events and host training seminars for people within their networks. Meanwhile, the government employs a range of specialists whose role it is to foster and develop relationships within the Māori health sector.
Some of the people, organisations and events are listed below. Visit the websites to find out more.
