Australian Professor Fran Baum’s model of winners and losers shows us a new ways of doing things. She talks about being ‘hard on the problems and soft on the people’.

Improving our practice, she suggests, lies in working with people, listening, understanding the world view of others and seeing health issues from their perspective.
